Buddha Dordenma is a large statue of Shakyamuni Buddha located in the Kuensel Phodrang nature park in Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The statue is made of bronze and gilded in gold, and it stands at a height of 169 feet (51.5 meters), making it one of the tallest Buddha statues in the world.

The construction of the Buddha Dordenma statue was commissioned in 2006 to celebrate the centenary of the Bhutanese monarchy. The statue was completed in 2015 and consecrated by the current King of Bhutan, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.

The Buddha Dordenma statue houses over 100,000 smaller Buddha statues and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and meditation halls. It is a popular tourist attraction and a sacred site for Bhutanese Buddhists who come to offer prayers and seek blessings.
